In Natal, police On August 23, security forces in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, conducted a rescue operation on the Rio Potengi to save a woman from a suspected execution. The operation, involving multiple police battalions and aerial support, intercepted a boat near the Passo da Pátria community. Reports suggest operation was triggered by reports that the woman was being held by a group referred to as against her will on a ‘crime tribunal’ vessel and was allegedly being transported to a ‘tribunal do crime’ (crime tribunal) to be killed due to accusations of acting allegations that she acted as an informant.
