In early July 2026 Polish TV personalities Katarzyna Cichopek and Maciej Kurzajewski travelled to Seoul, toured Gyeongbokgung Palace in hanboks and posted videos of historic villages and a cosmetic skin‑treatment clinic, describing the experience as a “time travel” to the Joseon dynasty. During the same visit, the duo announced the end of their contract with Polsat. Initial posts on Facebook later in the week thanked the broadcaster and said they would focus on personal projects. On 30 July 2026 they expanded the announcement on Instagram, noting that their morning programme “Halo tu Polsat”, which they had co‑hosted since August 2024, would conclude as the network chose not to renew their contracts. Polsat issued its own statement expressing gratitude for the duo’s two‑year stint on the show and wishing them success. Cichopek and Kurzajewski clarified that the contract had simply expired and reiterated plans to develop their own brands and launch independent projects. The pair had previously co‑hosted following day, 31 July 2026, the TVP2 breakfast long‑running social‑issue programme “Pytanie na śniadanie” before moving to Polsat in August 2024. “Interwencja” aired its final episode, ending a 23‑year run. Hosts Michał Bebło and Rafał Zalewski delivered a farewell, marking the program’s closure alongside the duo’s departure from Polsat.
