Early May the Polish FA prepared a vote on a foreign‑player quota for Ekstraklasa matchday squads, while the Ministry of Sport examined a major expansion of the PGE Narodowy stadium for possible Olympic use. On 5 May Wisła Kraków secured promotion to the top division and began planning a celebration, and I Liga side Wieczysta Kraków hinted at a possible league withdrawal. A fan‑ban dispute on 26 May saw Śląsk Wrocław fined one million złoty for denying Wisła supporters entry; Cracovia pledged to admit those fans for upcoming derbies.
