Polish vocational education development

Polish vocational education institutions are expanding opportunities through academic partnerships and international internships.

In late September 2026, several Polish schools established agreements with higher education institutions to bridge the gap between vocational training and university studies. Bialystok University of Technology partnered with Zespół Szkół Ponadpodstawowych nr 3 in Siedlce to provide students access to university laboratories and specialist lectures in fields like electromobility and robotics. Similarly, the Regionalne Centrum Edukacji Zawodowej in Lublin joined the Partner Schools group of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University to facilitate smoother transitions to academic education.

Concurrently, vocational training is being extended internationally. Students from the Mikołaj Kopernik School Complex No. 3 in Wieluń are scheduled to undertake a four-week internship program in Bologna, Italy. This initiative involves technicians specializing in programming, forwarding, and commerce, focusing on professional development and intercultural communication skills.
