Slovenian political stability has been challenged by allegations of foreign interference and legal scrutiny of opposition leader Robert Golob. In mid-August, Robert Golob, leader of the Freedom Movement, called for a National Security Council meeting following allegations of espionage and foreign interference involving Russia and Israel.
