In response, Obi has formally requested that UNN release his academic records, including his 1984 Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, to the public. He stated he has “absolutely no objection to the release of these records” and challenged other presidential aspirants to undergo similar scrutiny. Financial disputes have also intensified. While Obi maintains he left Anambra State with no historical arrears exceeding ₦35 billion and approximately ₦2 billion in an ecological fund, the Anambra State Government has disputed these claims.
