Power franchise Netflix international rollout

Overview

In late July 2026 Lionsgate Television announced a multiyear, non‑exclusive licensing agreement with Netflix to stream the four core series of the Power franchise – Power, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Power Book IV: Force – outside the United States and Canada. The deal, set to begin in November, would see the original Power series also launch on Netflix domestically while remaining on Starz in the U.S.

A week later Starz reiterated the arrangement, noting that Canada was excluded from the international agreement, which sparked fan complaints on social media. Co‑creator Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson confirmed the details on Instagram. The upcoming spin‑offs Origins and Legacy are not covered by the current deal and will stay on Starz for the time being.
