Overview
The Prince George RCMP is investigating an alleged axe assault involving a security guard. On September 13, a guard conducting routine patrols in the 1100 block of 3rd Avenue encountered a group of four individuals. During the altercation, one man used an axe to inflict minor injuries to the guard’s hand.
Authorities are searching for a suspect described as a man wearing a black hoodie and brown pants, who fled the scene on a black or red bicycle. Sgt. Craig Douglass characterized the violence as “deeply concerning and unacceptable.”
