Pristina art and cultural programming

In mid‑July 2026, Pristina’s Gallery of Arts opened Arianit Beqiri’s exhibition “Another Time”, featuring performance, installation and visual works, while the Open Art Gallery presented Arianit Lakna’s show “anGjelus Novus”, a reinterpretation of Paul Klee’s angel motif. Both events attracted local artists, curators and visitors and emphasized interactive, experimental presentations.

A few weeks later, on 3 August, Prime Minister Albin Kurti inaugurated a month‑long diaspora art and culture festival, “As anej, as knej”, at the Grand Hotel. The festival also highlighted broader governmental initiatives, including the digitalisation of consular services, a €100 million investment window for diaspora entrepreneurs, and the establishment of Kosovo’s first energy research centre in partnership with German experts.
