Programming at Teatro Trianon Viviani
Overview
The Teatro Trianon Viviani in Forcella is launching its new theatrical season, ‘Curre curre guaglio’’, under artistic director Pierpaolo Sepe. Following the TrianonDanza contemporary dance festival in late September, the venue is hosting a diverse program from October 13 to October 18, featuring contemporary dance, neomelodic music, and documentary film. The schedule begins on October 13 with ‘Danze ardenti’ by Akerusia danza, a contemporary dance performance involving students from the Corpo Unico inclusive dance cycle. On October 16, the season officially opens with the concert ‘Radio Trianon – Neomelodica’. Under the musical direction and arrangements of Ernesto Nobili, the event features artists from indie, rock, urban, rap, and pop genres reinterpreting classic neomelodic songs, including performances by Maldestro, Bagarija orkestar, and members of 99 Posse. The programming concludes on October 18 with ‘Si dice di me’, a documentary film centered on Marina Rippa and her laboratory. In Naples, the Teatro Sannazaro is resuming activities at the Teatro Mediterraneo following a fire that struck its historic Via Chiaia location on February 17. The reopening is set for Friday, October 16, with the production ‘Café Chantant – My World’ by Lara Sansone. This performance, a Neapolitan theater staple for approximately thirty years, was originally scheduled to run when the fire occurred. The production features a cast including Lucio Pierri, Massimo Peluso, Mario Aterrano, and Toni Guido, accompanied by the Teatro Sannazaro Orchestra and Ballet. Following the October dates, the show is scheduled to return from December 18, 2026, to January 17, 2027. Across Italy, various cultural and theatrical initiatives are launching for the 2026/2027 period. ScugnizzArt Teatro is entering its 18th year with workshops designed to foster emotional growth through performance.
