At the July 28 2026 Town Hall Meeting One PTPN Group 2026 in Bandung, PTPN IV PalmCo was honoured with three Excellence awards—Risk Management, Execution Speed and Cost Effectiveness—highlighting recent governance reforms and stronger management systems. In the same event, PT Perkebunan Nusantara III signed a cooperation agreement with the police security guard unit (Baharkam Polri) to safeguard the state’s strategic plantation assets, reinforcing risk‑management practices.

Later the same day, facing a dry season driven by a strong El Niño that produced haze and forest fires across Kalimantan, PTPN IV PalmCo announced an expanded fire‑mitigation program. The company increased patrols, imposed a Zero‑Burning Policy on partners and deployed an AI‑based early‑warning system linked to satellite hotspot monitoring to detect and isolate fire risks before they spread, coordinating with regional and national disaster‑management agencies.
