Public controversies involving Gala Montes

Mexican actress and singer Gala Montes has become the center of several public controversies involving personal disputes and professional accusations.

Initially, Montes was involved in a public disagreement with singer Emiliano Aguilar regarding the nature of their romantic relationship. While Montes admitted to a connection and expressed regret, claiming Aguilar was “not ready” for commitment, Aguilar denied the relationship ever occurred and blocked her on social media to protect his career.

Following her appearance on ‘La Casa de los Famosos México’, Montes’s disputes expanded to include professional and peer-related conflicts. She accused singers María José and Paty Cantú of plagiarism, alleging their song ‘La mala del cuento’ copies her upcoming single ‘La mala’ from her album ‘La hija de nadie’. Montes stated via Instagram stories that she attempted to contact Cantú multiple times to discuss the matter without receiving a response, expressing disappointment given their previous close relationship. She has shared material intended to compare the timelines of her work with the release of the contested track.

Additionally, Montes experienced a rift with fellow reality star Arath de la Torre. While de la Torre expressed concern for her well-being following the competition, Montes criticized him for a perceived lack of support during her time on the show.
