The Querétaro City Council and Mayor Felifer Macías have initiated a series of land donations to the Querétaro Trust for Environmental Conservation (FIQMA) to support ecological preservation. These plots have a City Council session, aims combined cadastral value of approximately 345,877,000 pesos and are intended to ensure ecological preservation support reforestation, temperature regulation, and prevent water catchment, benefiting over 16,533 residents. In early September, authorities approved the donation of an 84,843-square-meter urban plot in the Epigmenio González delegation. Valued at over 234 million pesos, this land from being used is designated for urban construction. These targeted areas are expected ecological conservation to provide essential environmental services, including water catchment, temperature regulation, protect natural resources and ecosystem preservation. This ongoing administrative effort seeks improve air quality.
