Rai TV program launches 2026

In late July 2026 Italy’s public broadcaster Rai introduced new television offerings that emphasized cultural and educational themes. On Rai 3, the travel documentary series “Kilimangiaro Estate” aired its second edition, featuring experts from marine biology, astrophysics, literature, urban planning, and chemistry discussing deep‑sea ecosystems, space exploration, literature, overtourism, and the hidden artistry of nature. The same week, Rai 1 revived the coastal travel show “Vista Mare,” showcasing the landscapes, traditions, and crafts of Pozzuoli, the Campi Flegrei, Molise, Sardinia, and Naples to celebrate Italy’s seaside heritage.

Following these cultural programs, Rai 2 scheduled additional content aimed at rural education and performing arts. The social‑educational farm Rurabilandia in Atri was highlighted on the show “Lo Spazio dei Talenti,” bringing attention to its inclusion initiatives and rural‑learning model. Simultaneously, Rai 2 launched the competition series “Performer Cup Italy Pass,” a weekly eight‑episode contest with regional teams from Liguria, Lombardia, Abruzzo, Sicilia and the rest of Italy competing in singing, dance, acting, music and circus arts. Hosted by Valentina Spampinato and Garrison Rochelle, the series will select a national performer team for the World Championships.
