Rapid București defeats FC Voluntari 2-1 in SuperLiga

Overview

Rapid București secured a 2-1 comeback victory against FC Voluntari in the ninth round of the SuperLiga at Giulești Stadium. Although FC Voluntari took an early lead in the 12th minute via a header from Mihai Roman II, Rapid turned the match around in the second half. This victory moves Rapid to second place in the standings, two points behind leader Dinamo. Looking ahead, Rapid is scheduled to play a friendly match against the Italian Serie A side Genoa during the upcoming international break.
