In Bengaluru, a driver was accused of stealing a passenger’s Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra during a ride. The complainant reported that the driver used a vehicle with a registration number different from the one listed on the app. Following the theft, the driver allegedly demanded 18,000 rupees via WhatsApp to return the device and threatened to destroy it. Police have registered a case of theft and criminal intimidation.
