Rascal Does Not Dream anime regional collaborations
Overview
To celebrate the theatrical release of the concluding anime film, ‘Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend’, various regional collaboration campaigns have been launched in Japan.
In the Enoshima region, the Enoshima Electric Railway is running a special ‘Blue Pig’ train with custom headmarks, decorated station signs, and commemorative admission tickets.
Expanding the festivities in the Enoshima and Shonan areas of Fujisawa, a special event titled ‘Rascal Does Not Dream is Drifting in a Jellyfish Dream’ is scheduled from October 16 to November 30, 2026. This event features a digital stamp rally with life-sized character panels at 13 locations, including Fujisawa Station, the New Enoshima Aquarium, and sightseeing spots such as Enoshima Iwaya and the Enoshima Sea Candle. Participants who complete the rally can receive a special illustrated postcard.
Further activities in the Fujisawa area include themed exhibits at the New Enoshima Aquarium, sales of limited-edition collaboration goods, and the ‘Enoshima-Maenosui Area Passport’, which provides discounted access to local facilities. Special night-time passes are also available to coincide with the Shonan Candle 2026 event.
In Yokohama, a large-scale campaign runs from October 8 to October 30, 2026, in partnership with the Yokohama City Tourism Association and Aniplex. The event involves approximately 250 participating stores across areas like Yokohama Chinatown and Minato Mirai, where customers can collect limited-edition stickers. Additional festivities include themed lighting at the Yokohama Marine Tower and Yokohama Hammerhead, as well as special light displays on the Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel.
