Real estate auctions are being conducted extensively across Brazil, involving both private platforms and municipal entities. In August, the Zuk platform initiated auctions for over 1,190 properties across all 27 states, featuring assets from major financial institutions like Itaú Unibanco, Bradesco, Santander, and Banco PAN. Concurrently, the City Hall of Ubá launched an online auction for 28 municipal properties. By early September, auction activity continued with significant price reductions. Zuk reported discounts of up to 81% in Rio de Janeiro, while Santander offered up to 82% off appraised values. In mid-September, Caixa Econômica Federal began auctioning 596 lots across 23 states with discounts reaching up to 67%. As of late September and early October, large-scale auctions continue. On October 6, Biasi Leilões, in partnership with Santander, will hold an online auction of 209 properties across 20 states, with starting bids at R$ 28,500. For these properties, Santander will settle outstanding condominium fees and property taxes (IPTU) up to the auction date. Financing is available, including mortgage options with a minimum 20% down payment. Santander is conducting several other major auctions in October. One event organized with Zuk features over 200 properties with discounts up to 76% and financing for up to 420 months. Another partnership with Sold Leilões includes 202 properties across 20 states, offering discounts of up to 90% on initial bids. Additionally, Caixa Econômica Federal has scheduled a two-stage auction for 596 properties on October 14 and October 20, with values ranging from R$ 51,000 to R$ 8 million. Following these events, Caixa Econômica Federal, in partnership with Fidalgo Leilões, launched an auction for 453 properties across 22 states and the Distrito Federal. This inventory includes 265 apartments, 161 houses, 20 plots of land, six commercial properties, and one rural property.
