Record TV confirmed that the 18th season of its rural reality series A Fazenda will premiere on 14 September 2026. Director Rodrigo Carelli and presenter Adriane Galisteu reiterated format changes announced on 21 July: a larger set, a new dressing‑room area, an expanded voting deck and a heightened role for the Ranch. The competition will feature 22 contestants, split evenly between men and women, with new entry‑exit dynamics at the start.

On 28 July the network added scheduling details, bringing back live Sunday evenings for the "Prova de Fogo" attraction after a 15‑year hiatus and introducing a live Monday segment focused on on‑air confrontations, echoing the "Sincerão" format of Big Brother Brasil. A further announcement on 29 July stated that the live Sunday block will return for the first time since 2011, expanding the programming slate to directly challenge SBT’s Sunday lineup.

The season will be streamed 24 hours on RecordPlus, with a weekly rundown that includes ranch formation, Farmer's Challenge, eliminations, parties and highlights. Galisteu is approaching the tenure record previously held by Britto Júnior. Record also revealed that the network’s dance competition Dança dos Famosos will debut on 16 August with contestants Otaviano Costa and actor Junno Andrade, and that a refreshed version of the telenovela Avenida Brasil will feature a reworked role for heroine Nina (Débora Falabella).

Carelli continues to warn viewers about fraudulent offers posing as agency payments, emphasizing that participation is free and the contestant list remains confidential.
