Regional community events in France and Belgium

Various community and regional events are scheduled across France and Belgium for September 2026.

In France, activities include a family nature challenge in Loire-Atlantique on September 5, involving orienteering, mountain biking, stand-up paddle, and kayak trails between the Pont-Caffino leisure base and Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine. In Paris, the 10 km du Trocadéro is scheduled for September 6. The Alpes-Maritimes department hosted its Garden Party Sport on September 3 to launch the local sports season. In Hyères, the 15th edition of the Urban Trail is scheduled for September 27, featuring 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km races through the old town to support the association Sportez Vous Bien 83. Other French events include military-related demonstrations in Thionville, a color run benefiting Terre Fraternité – ADO, and the 45th Verdun National Fair in the Meuse department.

In Belgium, mobility and sporting initiatives continue. Following a Mobility Day in Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes, the municipality of Gerpinnes will inaugurate a new section of the RAVeL network on September 19 as part of European Mobility Week. This inauguration includes walking routes of 3 km and 5 km, alongside a 13 km cycling route starting from the old Gougnies station.
