Regional summer markets and festivals are concluding their seasonal programming across various locations.

In France, Écouché‑les‑Vallées held its final summer market for local producers on August 7, 2026, featuring regional specialties and a concert. This followed a summer guinguette event in La Ferté‑Macé on July 31, which organizers noted may expand in future years.

In Bergues, the ‘Plus Beaux Dimanches’ seasonal series is scheduled to hold its final installment on August 23. The event, which has grown significantly over 19 years, includes an expanded artisanal market and a musical lineup featuring Mimi. Co and Arnaud.

New musical events are also scheduled for late August. The Rose Festival in Toulouse is celebrating its fifth anniversary from August 27 to 29 at the MEETT venue. Conceived by the rap duo Bigflo & Oli, the festival features a lineup including Macklemore, Aya Nakamura, and DJ Snake, alongside artists such as Charlotte Cardinet, Kungs, Vladimir Cauchemar, and Josman.

Additionally, the Musique dans la Rue festival is taking place in Aix-en-Provence from August 21 to 29, 2026, offering 47 free concerts spanning genres such as jazz, bossa nova, and medieval polyphony.
