Producer Guneet Monga Kapoor emphasized that the project is a situational comedy rather than a slapstick spoof. Ayushmann Khurrana described the film as a departure from his usual roles. The ensemble cast features Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Raghubir Yadav, and Suhail Nayyar, the latter of whom noted a significant physical transformation for his character. Following the trailer release, the video reached the number one trending spot on YouTube. On September 28, the film released the song ‘Bhootni Ka’, composed by Sachin-Jigar with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
