Reopening of public venues and sporting facilities in Italy

Overview

Various public venues and sporting facilities in Italy are resuming operations following periods of closure, renovation, or seasonal breaks.

In Corato, the Stadio Comunale is scheduled to reopen on September 20 for a football match between Corato Calcio and Ideale Bari. Additionally, the Teatro Carlo Goldoni in Corinaldo is set to reopen on September 25 following modernization work funded by a Marche Region grant. The theater was recently recognized by UNESCO as part of a World Heritage List.

In the racing sector, the Ippodromo Bologna Arcoveggio reopened on September 17. In Rome, the Ippodromo delle Capannelle is hosting a public celebration on September 20 to mark its reopening and the centenary of its 1926 renovation. This restart follows a period of redevelopment and is part of local revitalization efforts supported by municipal and national officials.
