Republika Srpska municipal infrastructure funding

Overview

The Government of Republika Srpska has approved several rounds of funding for municipal infrastructure and social support projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In Berkovići, 800,000 KM was allocated for the reconstruction of a sports hall used for physical education and local clubs. Additionally, 150,000 KM was approved through the Solidarity Fund to compensate local farmers for agricultural crop damage.

Flood protection efforts in the Tukovi settlement have seen the completion of a 1,000-meter concrete parapet wall, with future plans to deepen the Sana riverbed. Other municipal improvements include sewage systems, road paving, street lighting, and the Prijedor–Banjaluka highway.
