Request Inc. organizational behavior research releases

Tokyo-based Request Inc. has released a series of practical guides focused on organizational behavior science and management in the age of AI.

Initial releases included ‘Art Thinking for Managers,’ an 11-page resource designed to help leaders improve delegation, support, and communication. The guide encourages managers to use ‘art thinking’—a process of iterative refinement—to better align objectives with team members and distinguish between facts and interpretations.

Subsequent releases expanded on these themes with ‘Art Thinking and Decision Design in the AI Era’ and ‘What is Thinking?’. These materials, which include a 26-page illustrated guide and a research review, aim to bridge the gap between conceptual thought and workplace execution. The company addresses communication ambiguities, such as vague instructions, by categorizing thinking into six requirements: target and purpose, scope of investigation, necessary materials, methodology, judgment criteria, and conditions for consultation or completion.
