Recent scientific studies have increasingly emphasized the significance of biological age as a critical indicator of health risks and cognitive development, distinct from chronological age. A study by researchers at Boston University and Princeton University focused on cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome—encompassing obesity, high blood pressure, and poor lipid or glucose levels—using ultrasound to identify early vascular damage in individuals in their early 20s. Additionally, research published in Nature Medicine using UK Biobank data has linked accelerated biological aging to increased cancer risk. By applying the PhenoAge algorithm to blood values, researchers found that individuals born between 1965 and 1974 had a biological age gap 23 percent higher than those born in the early 1950s.
