Police in various German regions are investigating multiple residential burglaries and thefts involving high-value items. In the Oberberg district, several incidents occurred on September 25. In Marienheide, a 63-year-old witness observed three masked individuals, aged approximately 15 to 16, exiting a home through a window after stealing a watch and a silver bracelet. The suspects fled in a dark station wagon toward Kottenhausen; the driver was described as having dark skin and a mustache. Other residential thefts involving cash and jewelry were reported in Mettmann and Leimen. Authorities also noted various distraction-based crimes, including a fake charity solicitor in Oberursel and a man using a fake inquiry about directions to steal jewelry from a 90-year-old in Friedrichsdorf. Commercial targets, including a restaurant in Winterberg-Züschen and food stalls in Oldenburg and Offenburg, were also burglarized.
