The brand is also revitalizing its archives with a newspaper print capsule collection, which includes tops, skirts, and accessories. This collection gained significant visibility after singer Rosalía was photographed in Mexico City wearing a sleeveless midi dress from the line. The garment, featuring a round neckline and flared skirt, serves as a contemporary nod to the Y2K era and specifically references the newspaper-print Dior dress worn by Carrie Bradshaw in ‘Sex and the City’. Unlike the original high-fashion piece, the Desigual version incorporates the brand’s own history and milestones into its graphic pattern.
