Retail park expansion in Croatia

Overview

The retail park sector in Croatia continues to expand, led by the STOP SHOP brand. Following previous openings in Knin, Sinj, and Samoboru, the company is set to launch its 23rd location in Bjelovar on October 22, 2026.

The Bjelovar facility will encompass over 10,600 square meters of sales area and provide 445 parking spaces. All 19 planned tenants have secured leases, representing diverse categories such as fashion, technology, home products, cosmetics, and pet supplies. Participating brands include Sinsay, Mass, TEDi, JYSK, dm-drogerie markt, and LC Waikiki, among others.

Specific expansions within the Bjelovar market include the opening of the seventh Croatian store for non-food discount retailer Action. Located at Pakračka Street 11, the 832-square-meter Action store will offer approximately 6,000 products. Additionally, technology retailer Vacom will open a new location within the STOP SHOP park, featuring an assortment of IT equipment, mobile devices, and e-vehicles, with promotional discounts running through October 31.
