Revival of Polish television series Ranczo

Overview

The popular Polish television series ‘Ranczo’ is undergoing a revival after a decade-long hiatus. Filming for the new production, titled ‘Ranczo. Zemsta wiedźm’, began in June 2026, with a premiere scheduled for December on TVP 1.

While the upcoming release was initially presented as a limited six-episode series intended to provide closure to the narrative, ATM Grupa has expressed interest in expanding the project. President Przemysław Kmiotek indicated that the group aims to move beyond a short set of special episodes to develop full subsequent seasons, potentially producing 13-episode seasons throughout 2027 and 2028, pending approval from the public broadcaster.

The new scripts are based on work by the late Andrzej Grembowicz in collaboration with his son, Marcin Grembowicz. The revival seeks to capitalize on high viewership and resolve the story that was interrupted several years ago by management changes at the public broadcaster.
