Rio Branco organizational changes for 2027

Rio Branco has begun organizational preparations for the 2027 season. The club first appointed Anderson Borges as football executive to assist with squad construction for upcoming competitions such as the Copa do Brasil and Serie D. The club also indicated plans to renew contracts for several players and evaluate coaching options.

Following these executive moves, the club confirmed the hiring of Reinaldo as head coach for the 2027 season. The 47-year-old professional is tasked with leading the team in the Campeonato Capixaba and the Copa Espírito Santo.

Reinaldo arrives with recent coaching success in Rio de Janeiro, having led Maricá to the Campeonato Carioca Série A2 title and the Copa Rio, which secured that club a spot in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. He also recently managed Sampaio Corrêa-RJ, leading them to a third-place finish in the Copa Rio. Before transitioning to coaching via the CBF Academy, Reinaldo had a prominent career as a striker, playing for clubs including Flamengo, São Paulo, Santos, and Paris Saint-Germain. His playing career also included titles such as the Copa Mercosul and the Coupe de France, alongside stints in Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
