RIZIN LANDMARK 16 results in Nagasaki

Overview

The RIZIN LANDMARK 16 mixed martial arts event in Nagasaki, sponsored by abc Co., Ltd., took place on October 3, 2026. The event featured a high-profile matchup between Keigo Horie and Patrick Usami.

Ahead of the fight, the main event weight limit was adjusted after Usami weighed in at 72.65kg, exceeding the initial 71.0kg limit. Following discussions between the fighters' camps, RIZIN CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara announced that the contract weight for both fighters would be revised to 72.65kg. As the bout was not a title match, the organization implemented this change to ensure a competitive fight without penalties.

During the weigh-ins, Horie weighed in at 70.95kg, while Usami had been working under a new support structure including Ren Hiramoto to focus on physical strength and striking rhythm. Horie noted his preparation in the United States to strengthen his mental game ahead of the fight in his hometown.

In the main event, Keigo Horie defeated Patrick Usami via TKO in the second round using elbows and punches. Other notable results from the event at the Nagasaki Stadium City Happiness Arena included Viktor Kolesnik securing a second-round TKO victory over Koyomi Matsushima via elbows and a soccer kick. Following his win, Kolesnik addressed discussions regarding the referee's timing in stopping the fight and expressed interest in a rematch against Matsushima on New Year's Eve.
