Road accidents in Himachal Pradesh

In late September 2026, multiple fatal road accidents were reported in the Himachal Pradesh region of India.

On September 22, a vehicle plunged into a gorge on National Highway 305 in the Kullu district. The crash resulted in the deaths of four young men who were reportedly returning from a wedding ceremony. One individual sustained serious injuries.

Two days later, on September 24, a head-on collision occurred between an electric bus and a car on National Highway-205 near Shimla. This accident killed three members of a single family and left the car driver seriously injured. Local police have initiated investigations into both incidents.
