Overview
The Romanian Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism has extended the application deadline for the SME Eco-Tech program until December 30, 2026.
The program supports micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the commerce, services, and production sectors by facilitating investments in modernization, digitalization, and environmentally friendly technologies. Eligible companies can receive a non-reimbursable grant of up to 267,240 RON, covering a maximum of 40% of a total investment that must be at least 668,100 RON. At least 40% of eligible expenses must be directed toward green or digital equipment, with the remaining 60% or more financed through a bank loan.
The initiative is funded through the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Program, with the Swiss Confederation providing 70% of the approximately 288.84 million RON total budget.
