On an international level, Romanian officials are strengthening security and anti-corruption cooperation. Interim Minister of Internal Affairs Cătălin Predoiu met with a delegation from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to discuss optimizing protocols against organized crime, such as drug and human trafficking, and aligning border monitoring with advanced transatlantic technologies. Additionally, a Ministry of Justice delegation led by State Secretary Teodora Stoian participated in a seminar in Chișinău, Moldova.
