Rondonópolis municipal education initiatives
Overview
The municipal education system in Rondonópolis has introduced several administrative and nutritional programs. In October, the city implemented a healthy school meal program across 100 municipal schools, serving over 30,500 students. This initiative, which included a ‘Healthy Hot Dog Day’, utilized artisanal ingredients to promote better eating habits and accommodate dietary restrictions.
In November, the Municipal Secretariat of Education, Culture, Sport, and Leisure (Semecel) opened the re-enrollment period for current students. This was followed by scheduled enrollment windows for students transitioning through the network resizing process, those moving from Cáritas schools to the municipal system, and new student enrollments.
