Rush reunion tour drummer performance updates

Overview

During the first night of the Rush ‘Fifty Something’ reunion tour in San Antonio on September 24, drummer Anika Nilles experienced a technical mishap when she lost a drumstick during a performance of ‘Tom Sawyer’. Nilles was able to replace the stick immediately without interrupting the show, receiving support from band members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson.

On October 17, the band was forced to postpone a scheduled performance at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, after Nilles fell ill with the flu. The concert has been rescheduled for December 6, with all existing tickets remaining valid for the new date.
