Additionally, Tajani confirmed that a new confidential military aid package for Ukraine is being prepared.

Germany has also weighed in, with its Foreign Ministry stating that Russia utilizes information manipulation to increase social polarization and weaken support for Ukraine.

Italian political leaders remain divided on the severity of these threats. While Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini cautioned against ‘anti-Russian anxiety,’ Giuseppe Conte, leader of the Movimento 5 Stelle, has criticized the warnings as ‘lightweight.’ Conte argued that while cyber warfare and criminal organizations are real concerns, issuing alarms without specific current evidence lacks a foundation and may be premature.
