Overview
Ryman Hospitality Properties announced an agreement to acquire the Grande Lakes Orlando complex from Trinity Investments for approximately $1.38 billion. The acquisition includes the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes Resort and The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, along with a golf course, spa, and waterpark.
To fund the transaction, Ryman Hospitality Properties priced a public offering of 5,100,000 shares of common stock at $117.00 per share, with underwriters holding an option for additional shares. The remaining purchase price is expected to be covered by cash on hand and debt.
The deal, expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, will increase Ryman’s total room count by about 13% and marks the company’s first entry into the Ritz-Carlton brand. Marriott will continue to manage marketing and branding for the properties. Ryman expects the transaction to be accretive to adjusted funds from operations per share by 2027.
