SAGA Barcelona Game Fest

Overview

The SAGA Barcelona Game Fest is scheduled for October 9 to 11 at the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc. The event aims to connect the Spanish gaming ecosystem with the international industry across 14,000 square meters.

Initial details highlighted the My Famicase Exhibition, which features 250 fictional Famicom cartridges with custom labels and imaginary histories. The exhibition, which originated in Tokyo in 2005, includes significant participation from Spain, particularly Catalan artists. The festival poster, designed by Conrad Roset, incorporates Barcelona’s skyline with various video game references.

Further details regarding the festival include Japan serving as the guest country, featuring an official Nintendo booth and appearances by composers Miki Higashino and Manami Matsumae. The professional segment of the event is expected to host 29 publishers and facilitate approximately 1,500 business meetings.
