SailGP Pensacola training base establishment

Overview

SailGP has established its first permanent training base at the American Magic High Performance Center in Pensacola, Florida. The facility is intended to serve as a year-round ecosystem for the international fleet of F50 catamarans and for athlete development.

The center operates under a multi-season agreement running through 2031, utilizing a pay-to-train model that allows teams to access resources for specific training blocks outside of race weekends. Teams such as Emirates GBR have already begun utilizing the site to prepare for upcoming championship stages, including the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix.
