Salta provincial utility subsidy administration

Overview

In Salta, provincial authorities have implemented measures to facilitate access to social assistance and utility subsidies. The Salta Public Services Regulatory Entity approved the removal of security deposits previously required to transfer electricity contracts for low-income households, retirees, and pensioners.

To support these subsidy programs, officials have launched territorial enrollment operations. Following a successful registration drive in the Alberdi neighborhood, authorities partnered with the July Foundation to conduct a new operation in the San Roque neighborhood of Tartagal to register vulnerable residents for water and energy assistance.
