Overview
Samsung is conducting its Solve for Tomorrow 2026 initiative, a corporate citizenship program that encourages students to develop technological solutions for social challenges.
In Asia, the competition has expanded in India, where four winning teams from Raebareli, Raipur, New Delhi, and Hyderabad received incubation grants totaling ₹2 crore. These winners will receive mentorship at IIT Delhi to develop prototypes in fields like AI-based cybersecurity, health, education, sports technology, and environmental sustainability. In the Philippines, the program is entering its final stage, inviting students from government-managed science high schools to submit innovations by November 2. The competition offers nearly ₱2 million in total prizes, including cash and Samsung devices for winning teams, schools, and teacher-advisers.
In Indonesia, Samsung Electronics Indonesia announced winners in Jakarta following a competition focused on environmental sustainability, social change through sports, and educational transformation. In the high school category, the BryotechAlpha team from SMA Negeri 81 Jakarta won with “AeroSpora,” a smart moss wall using IoT and AI to combat air pollution. In the university category, the I-SEUNG team from Universitas Komputer Indonesia won with “NovaSight,” an AI-driven mathematics application for visually impaired students. The Indonesian edition saw over 4,000 applicants.
In Latin America, the program has identified regional finalists.
