Samsung TV Plus content expansion
Overview
Samsung TV Plus is expanding its Free Ad-supported Streaming Television (FAST) channel lineup through international creator partnerships and established media brands.
Initial expansion efforts focused on creator-led content, including the launch of ‘Luke Nguyen’s World’ in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines. In the United Kingdom, Samsung partnered with 208 Studios to introduce channels such as Happy Place and Golf Life, while the Mark Rober TV channel expanded into Brazil and Mexico. Salek Brodsky, senior VP and global head of Samsung TV Plus, stated that the “creator economy is a global phenomenon reshaping how audiences engage with content.”
Following these creator-focused launches, the service added BBC Lifestyle to its free channel lineup, offering content centered on home decor, design, family, health, and fashion.
