San Isidro Escuela Técnica Nro 3 restoration

Overview

The municipality of San Isidro is conducting an integral recovery of Escuela Técnica Nro 3, an institution that suffered a significant fire in 2016. The project, funded by municipal resources, aims to rehabilitate damaged spaces and improve building conditions for approximately 600 students.

As of late October 2026, the restoration of eight classrooms has been completed. These improvements include the total renewal of electrical and plumbing systems, ceiling repairs, painting, and structural reinforcements in areas affected by the fire. Additional work includes installing new lighting, replacing deteriorated window frames, and adding safety mesh to improve insulation and security.

Work is currently ongoing in 12 additional classrooms. Mayor Ramón Lanús has supervised the progress, stating that the project seeks to provide the community with the “dignified classrooms and workshops they have deserved for years.”
