Sandals Resorts expansion in Jamaica

Sandals Resorts is undergoing a US$200 million transformation of its Jamaican properties, specifically Sandals South Coast, Sandals Montego Bay, and Sandals Caribbean Cay. This renovation includes the introduction of new accommodations, such as the brand’s first double queen suites designed for honeymooners and wedding parties.

To support these updates, the company has launched several promotional initiatives. In August 2026, Sandals introduced an incentive program for Canadian travel advisors to celebrate Jamaica’s Independence Day, offering cash bonuses and increased commissions for bookings at the renovated resorts.

Additionally, the company is expanding its destination wedding services by offering a free upgraded ‘Sweetheart Wedding Package’ for qualifying 2027 bookings. This package includes dedicated planning, ceremony venues, and private cocktail receptions. Complementing these services, the ‘Celebration Collection by Island Routes’ has been launched to provide private experiences like catamaran sailings and culinary masterclasses for proposals and vow renewals.
