SanDisk and Meta storage partnership

Overview

SanDisk has entered an exclusive partnership with Meta to provide expandable storage solutions for the upcoming Meta VR Glasses, which are scheduled for release in Spring 2027.

As part of the ‘Made for Meta’ certified accessories ecosystem, SanDisk will offer microSD Express memory cards and USB-C flash drives. These products are designed to work seamlessly with the hardware to support the high storage demands of VR applications, 360-degree videos, and games.
