Santander educational scholarship programs in Mexico

Santander has announced new educational support initiatives in Mexico. The bank is launching the ‘Santander – Media Manutención 2026’ program, which offers 125 scholarships of 4,500 pesos each to students in various academic levels at both public and private institutions. Furthermore, the bank reported on the ‘Tuiio te acompaña’ program, which provides continuous financing for the children of Tuiio clients. In 2026, the program saw a 25% increase in participation compared to the previous year, receiving 1,069 applications for 25 available scholarships. Felipe García Asencio, Director General of Grupo Financiero Santander México, stated that the institution intends to deliver more than 250,000 various types of scholarships in Mexico this year to support academic development and social mobility.
