Santander municipal family support initiatives
Overview
The Santander City Council has implemented various measures to support local families. In October, the Local Government Board approved an additional 45 grants of 200 euros each to provide economic assistance to families with children. This allocation follows a municipal program that has already supported over 420 families this year.
Following these financial measures, the council announced a program of school holiday activities beginning November 2. This initiative includes the operation of toy libraries in several districts for children aged 3 to 12, as well as sports campuses managed by the IMD for children aged 3 to 16.
