Sardinian university entrepreneurship initiatives

Overview

The University of Sassari has inaugurated a new cycle of the Contamination Lab (CLab UniSS), a program intended to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability among youth in Sardinia.

Supported by the Region of Sardinia, the initiative is part of a larger strategic framework. Under the 2025 stability law, 400,000 euros will be allocated annually from 2025 to 2027, with funds divided equally between the Universities of Cagliari and Sassari. This project works alongside other regional efforts, such as the NEWGENS Plan, which provides over 44 million euros for business creation and employment, and the STEP Measures, which allocate approximately 36 million euros for advanced training in strategic technological sectors.
